Quality Standards
- Both of our production
bases - WINCA (Hebi)Magnesium Materials Co. Ltd. (Raw Magnesium Refinery)
and WINCA Material Technology (Linyi) Co. Ltd. (Anode Foundry)
are ISO9001 certified.
- Our own strict internal specifications and inspection procedures have
been established for operation, production and quality control.
- Our very advanced, "state of the art" QA laboratories are
established in our production bases to meet international testing requirements.
Chemical Composition Testing Methods
- The chemical composition of metal is determined by means of spectrum
analysis and chemical analysis.
- The Thermo ARL 3460 Foundry Spectrometer, Baird FSQ Foundry Spectrovac
with HR-400 Source and Computer Controlled Emission Spectrograph are
employed.
Electrochemical Properties Testing Methods
- The electrochemical properties of anodes are tested as per ASTM specification
G97.
- On-line testing methods are continuing to be developed and applied
to our production procedures, to further insure the quality of our products.
Chemical Composition Test of Raw Magnesium
- Only our own primary magnesium ingots produced from WINCA
(Hebi)Magnesium Materials Co. Ltd. are used to produce WINCA
anodes.
- Factory standards are applied for chemical composition to insure the
low impurity levels specified for each pellet of magnesium ingot shipped.
The chemical compositions are tested again at WINCA
Material Technology (Linyi) Co. Ltd., prior to receiving.
Chemical Composition Test of Anode Alloy
- ASTM specifications for alloy chemical composition are applied to
insure the optimum chemistry for anode efficiency.
- Three chemical composition tests are performed for each heat, during
the pouring, to insure chemistry integrity.
Electrochemical Properties Test of Product
- Sample products are taken to the QA Lab. where the Open Circuit Voltage
and Current Efficiency are tested as per ASTM specification G97.
Casting Parameters Control
- The dimensions of each cast mould are inspected before pouring.
- Casting parameters are continuously checked to control production
variables.
- Each anode is weighed after finishing, and is inspected for excessive
shrink cavities, core security and general physical appearance to insure
the highest quality of the finished product.
Extrusion Parameters Control
- The dimensions of each extrusion die are inspected before extrusion.
- Product parameters are continuously checked to control production
variables such as diameter, concentricity, straightness, core tightness
and general physical appearance.
